EPAM Systems Hiring! Full Time Senior Data Engineer (Data Integration) in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Join EPAM Systems in Malaysia as a Senior Data Engineer. You will design, administer and support scalable data integration solutions using Qlik Replicate. Partnering with diverse teams, you will build reliable pipelines for real-time and batch data movement. Drive continuous improvement, ensure production stability and support modernization across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate scalable data pipelines for app tracking data, event-based analytics and application measurement use cases
• Process, transform and integrate raw data from Google Analytics into BigQuery, data lakes and other analytics platforms
• Build and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts, data workflows and pipeline components to support data processing requirements
• Provide consultation on KPI definitions, measurement frameworks, tracking logic and analytics data structures
• Collaborate with business, product and engineering teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions
• Monitor data pipelines, data freshness, workload performance and reliability across app analytics environments
• Support API integrations, data ingestion processes, automation activities and improvements to data pipeline operations
• Ensure solutions follow data governance, security, audit and operational best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering, data integration and enterprise production support using Qlik Replicate
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, CDC and pipeline management
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Enterprise Manager, Qlik Compose, Oracle SQL and performance tuning
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Unix or Linux scripting for server operations and security setups
• Experience supporting data ingestion and troubleshooting within Hadoop or Cloudera Data Platform
• Track record of success managing project-based delivery, BAU operations and incident resolution
• Strong background in stakeholder management, analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related discipline with a strong awareness of data governance

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience working with Talend ETL tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment and automation
• Experience supporting data modernization, cloud migration or analytics platform initiatives
