The Collibra DG/DQ Tech Architect will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable data governance and data quality frameworks leveraging the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Collibra DG/DQ Tech Architect to work closely with the Data Governance Stream Lead in driving data stewardship initiatives and governance processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in implementing data lineage, establishing data quality rules, managing metadata, and integrating Collibra with diverse data platforms and Azure–Databricks ecosystems (Azure Purview, Azure Databricks UC) to ensure data integrity, compliance, and trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement scalable Data Governance and Data Quality solutions using Collibra DGC (Data Governance Centre) and Collibra DQ.
• Strategic planning, developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and operating models. Create roadmaps to align data quality initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Collibra SME, configure Collibra Edge node, implement Operating Model, workflows, business glossary, and data catalogue to enable end-to-end data governance
• Define, implement, and monitor Data quality rules (validation, profiling, anomalies) and integrate them with the Collibra Data Catalog
• Establish integrations between Collibra and various on-premises/cloud data sources (e.g., Streaming sources, ODS Filesystems, RDBMS using Azure, Oracle, SQL Databases, Azure Databricks Unity Catalog, and Purview).
• Collaborate with data stewards, business units, and IT teams to drive adoption and uplift data literacy.
• Utilize Collibra DQ to identify, monitor, and report on data quality metrics, ensuring high-quality data for business intelligence and AI pipelines

Skills And Experience

• Proven experience in data governance/data management with 1–2 end-to-end Collibra DG/DQ implementations
• Hands-on expertise in Collibra DGC, DQ/Observability, and integrations with Azure Databricks (UC) and Purview
• Preferred certifications: Collibra Ranger, Data Steward, Workflow Engineer, or Solution Architect
• Strong understanding of data lineage, cataloging, and classification in enterprise Collibra environments
• Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field
• Experience with data quality tools (Collibra, IDQ, Axon, etc.)
• Familiarity with Power BI and OneLake semantic layer for lineage/DQ integration
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and scripting (Python/Java)
• Exposure to Solidatus or Datactics is a plus
