Client Solutions Lead – Azure Applications & Infrastructure
The Client Solutions Lead – Azure Applications & Infrastructure role combines deep technical expertise with strategic advisory capabilities, acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role focused on shaping enterprise digital transformation journeys across cloud and AI, while influencing large-scale solution outcomes across Southeast Asia.
This role reports to the Senior Director – Regional Client Solutions Lead, Southeast Asia.
As a Client Solutions Lead, you operate as the face of Avanade to senior clients (C-level / C-1), leading with credibility, technical depth, and strategic advisory rather than direct sales ownership.
You Will
- Lead strategic conversations on digital transformation, especially cloud and AI
- Engage with enterprise clients managing large-scale application estates (~1000 apps)
- Shape transformation roadmaps across Azure migration, modernization, and AI adoption
- Strengthen executive engagement and Avanade’s strategic advisory positioning
This role sits within a recently established Client Solutions (CS) function, designed to elevate Avanade’s ability to engage at the executive level and drive high-value, outcome-led transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Strategic Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, understanding business priorities and transformation goals
- Lead strategic discussions on:
- Cloud migration (e.g., Azure landing zones)
- Application modernization
- AI as part of enterprise transformation
- Position yourself as a “CXO for the customer”, influencing strategic direction
Solution Strategy & Opportunity Shaping
- Lead end-to-end solution strategy across Azure applications, security, and infrastructure
- Own strategic opportunity shaping for complex pursuits:
- Qualification
- Solution positioning
- Estimation oversight
- Commercial alignment
- Develop differentiated, scalable, and secure solutions aligned to business outcomes
Architecture & Transformation Leadership
- Guide architecture and design across:
- Azure IaaS, PaaS
- Containerized and serverless workloads
- Drive initiatives across:
- Cloud migration (including large estates)
- Application modernization
- Hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Provide governance to ensure:
- Architecture standards
- Security best practices
- Compliance and resilience
Collaboration & Ecosystem Alignment
- Work closely with:
- Microsoft (strategic partnership alignment)
- Avanade sales teams (supporting deals, not quota ownership)
- Practice and delivery teams (solutioning and execution alignment)
- Mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive solutions
Pre-Sales & Client Solutioning
- Lead pre-sales activities including:
- Solution design and presentations
- Proposals and RFP responses
- Statements of Work (SoW)
- Provide hands-on credibility, ensuring solutions are practical and executable
Innovation & Leadership
- Manage and drive the SEA Innovation Hub:
- Foster collaboration
- Build capabilities
- Enable innovation-led client engagement
- Coach and mentor technical teams to build high-performance capability

Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- Min 15+ years in:
- Azure architecture
- Cloud infrastructure & applications
- Enterprise solutioning
- Experience in:
- Consulting / technology services / client solutions / pre-sales
- Complex enterprise transformation engagements
- Multi-cloud environments (preferred)
Technical Capabilities
- Strong expertise across:
- Azure infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, security)
- Application architecture (microservices, APIs, serverless, event-driven)
- Experience with:
- Cloud migration and modernization at scale
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes (AKS)
- Deep understanding of:
- Security, compliance, resilience
- Cost optimization
