The Lead Designer is responsible for shaping and safeguarding the design vision across the Company’s portfolio of luxury hospitality and guest experience concepts. This role leads the creative development and execution of high-end environments that embody the group’s commitment to timeless elegance, refined service, and exceptional guest experiences.
Working closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and external design partners, the Lead Designer will oversee the entire design journey—from concept creation and brand storytelling to project delivery—ensuring every space reflects the highest standards of luxury, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Design Direction
- Lead the design vision and creative direction across all Company concepts, refurbishments, and new developments
- Develop distinctive design narratives that translate brand identity into immersive guest experiences
- Ensure consistency of aesthetic standards, design language, and brand expression across all projects
- Curate materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, artwork, and styling elements that reflect the luxury positioning of the Company
Concept Development
- Create and present design concepts, mood boards, space planning strategies, and visual presentations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with operational and functional teams to develop environments that integrate functionality with guest experience
- Drive innovative design solutions while preserving a timeless and sophisticated brand character
Project Execution
- Oversee projects from concept development through design implementation and final handover
- Manage and coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and design agencies
- Review drawings, material specifications, mock-ups, and site progress to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout execution
- Conduct site inspections and quality reviews to ensure the final outcome aligns with the approved design vision
Brand Experience & Innovation
- Identify emerging global trends in luxury hospitality, design, and experiential environments
- Introduce innovative design concepts, materials, and technologies that enhance guest engagement and elevate brand differentiation
- Continuously refine design standards to maintain the Company’s position as a leader in luxury experiences
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align creative vision, operational requirements, budgets, and timelines
- Present design proposals and project updates to senior management and ownership teams
- Serve as the key design authority for all spatial and experiential projects across the portfolio
Requirements
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in luxury hospitality, high-end commercial, or boutique design project
- Proven track record in delivering premium spatial, hospitality, or experiential project
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in luxury design and concept development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software
- Exceptional design sensibility with a strong understanding of luxury consumer expectation
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skill
