Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities to maintain high-quality financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Analyze balance sheet accounts and investigate variances, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of accounting processes and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting procedures, controls, and process standardization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
  • Support audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across accounting operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members when required.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications are an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or general ledger functions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, month-end close processes, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and supporting audits.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
