We are currently partnering with a well-established FMCG manufacturer in Malaysia, recognized for its premium food products and strong industry presence. The company is seeking a hands-on Senior Maintenance Engineer to support plant operations and ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
• Support plant operations by maintaining production machinery and utility systems.
• Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Oils & Fats, Oleochemical, Pharmaceutical, or related process industries.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills for production equipment and machinery.
• Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Mechanical maintenance experience is highly preferred.
• Possession of a Wireman or AO Certificate will be an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
