The opportunity:

As part of a fast-paced environment, you’ll be able to work on end-to-end digital transformation engagements — bridging actuarial expertise with technology-driven solutions in diverse range of digital transformation projects where you’ll build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities focused on risk modelling, financial forecasting, and data analytics. Working with a diverse client base, you may also be able to travel to Europe to work with the clients of different industries.

Your key responsibilities: As a Senior Analyst in the IT consultancy team, you will be assisting and leading the delivery of wide range of client engagements, leading or working as part of a project team where you will be able to combine strong quantitative skills with the ability to collaborate alongside software engineers, data scientists, and business consultants in designing, implementing, and optimizing actuarial systems and risk-based solutions for clients.

What you’ll do:

• Actuarial Modeling & Analytics: Develop, validate, and enhance actuarial models to support risk assessment, financial forecasting, and product design.
• Tech-Enabled Risk Solutions: Collaborate with IT teams to translate actuarial methodologies into scalable software tools, platforms, and automated solutions.
• Data-Driven Consulting: Leverage advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets and support client decision-making.
• System Integration: Assist in the integration of actuarial models into enterprise systems
• Client Engagement: Partner with clients to understand actuarial requirements and deliver customized IT-enabled solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with consultants, developers, and project managers to deliver actuarial insights in line with digital transformation strategies.

The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or relevant degrees
• Professional actuarial exam progress (SOA, IFoA, CAS) or certifications in Data Science, Cloud Computing, or Financial Risk Management is highly desirable.
• Strong business acumen in insurance, pensions, reinsurance, or enterprise risk management.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Prophet, Pathwise, Excel, R, Python, SAS).
• Confident communicator with stakeholder management skills (internal & clients)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their application in actuarial modelling is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, able to distill complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for business communication needs.
