Job Description:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical IT teams across applications, infrastructure, security, and integration.
  • Provide clear technical direction and decision-making, even where requirements are evolving or not fully defined.
  • Act as the IT technical focal point for projects delivered by geographically distributed, virtual teams.
  • Drive alignment across technical teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end IT solution.
  • Quickly understand, adopt, and apply internal IT standards, governance processes, and architectural principles.
  • Identify and manage technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and supportability requirements and are ready for operational handover.
  • Represent IT confidently in project governance forums and senior stakeholder discussions.
  • Experience leading and influencing technical IT teams without formal authority.
  • Stronger capability to direct technical delivery across both application and infrastructure domains.
  • Increased confidence operating in ambiguous, fast-moving delivery environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT standards, governance, and delivery models.
  • Broader exposure to global delivery teams and complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate technical IT teams in a project environment.
  • Strong ability to operate effectively under ambiguity and make sound technical decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to build trust and working relationships quickly with global, virtual teams.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to provide direction and challenge where required.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and apply organisational standards, processes, and architectural principles. Experience
  • Experience acting as a technical lead for IT teams on projects and initiatives.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines (applications, infrastructure, security, vendors).
  • Experience working with global or multi-regional teams.
  • Experience delivering solutions where scope or requirements evolve over time.
  • Exposure to enterprise IT governance and delivery frameworks.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise IT environments, including applications, infrastructure, integration, and security.
  • Understanding of how to lead technical delivery while maintaining alignment to standards and operational support models.
  • Awareness of service readiness, handover, and long-term support considerations.
  • Familiarity with matrixed organisations and complex stakeholder environments.
