The role: Draftsman

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
• Convert sketches, concepts, and design information into accurate engineering and architectural drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes, site conditions, or client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and specifications.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Conduct drawing checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion.
• Assist in material take-offs and quantity calculations when required.
• Ensure all drawings are completed within project deadlines.
• Support project teams with technical drafting and design-related tasks.
• To assist with on-site operational matters during the absence of the site supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Draftsman, CAD, or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, construction methods, and engineering principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong technical drafting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Possess a valid driving license and own a car to travel to project sites.
