About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to join the South Beach Boardies team. You may apply to work at either our Joo Chiat Road or Cluny Court store. This role is ideal for someone who loves beach culture, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in delivering genuine, friendly customer service. Alongside in-store work, there may be opportunities to help out at promotional events and pop-ups.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Experience & Sales

• Welcome customers and create a relaxed, friendly in-store experience
• Help customers find the right products, fit, and styles
• Share the South Beach Boardies story, including our sustainable and ethical values
• Support sales through natural upselling and strong product knowledge
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges confidently

Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Keep the store clean, organised, and visually appealing
• Assist with merchandising and product displays
• Ensure stock is neatly presented and easy to shop

Stock & Inventory Support

• Receive and unpack deliveries
• Assist with stock replenishment and stock counts
• Help minimise loss and maintain stock accuracy

Team, Events & Operations

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations
• Assist with opening and closing duties when required
• Help at occasional promotional events, pop-ups, and brand activations at different locations
• Work collaboratively to maintain a positive team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
• Friendly, reliable, and confident communicating with customers
• Interest in sustainability, ethical fashion, and beach culture
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work weekends, peak seasons, and occasional off-site events
