Job Description:-
1. Site Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise daily electrical construction and installation activities.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities are carried out according to the approved construction schedule.
- Ensure electrical works are properly coordinated with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Architectural trades.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to management.
2. Installation & Technical Monitoring
- Supervise installation of electrical systems, including:
- LV & MV electrical systems
- Power distribution systems
- Lighting systems
- Cable containment systems (trunking, tray, conduit)
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Fire alarm systems
- ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA System, Structured Cabling)
- Verify that installation works comply with approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Resolve site technical issues and coordinate with consultants and engineers.
3. Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Inspect completed works before consultant or client inspections.
- Ensure workmanship complies with project specifications, electrical standards, and authority requirements.
- Monitor testing and commissioning activities.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Assist in preparation of inspection requests and quality records.
4. Safety Compliance
- Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely and in compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safe work procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and near-miss incidents.
5. Testing & Commissioning
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
- Witness testing procedures with consultants and clients.
- Assist in troubleshooting and rectification of electrical system issues.
- Ensure all systems are operational before handover.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily site reports and progress reports.
- Maintain records of manpower, materials, inspections, and testing activities.
- Track material deliveries and usage.
- Report site issues, delays, and resource requirements to management.
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3 – 5 years of electrical site supervision and construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications.
Knowledge of:
- Electrical distribution systems
- Lighting systems
- Fire alarm systems
- ELV systems
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Testing and commissioning procedures
- Familiarity with electrical standards and authority requirements.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
