JOB SUMMARY
To provide excellent customer service and passenger assistance within the terminal, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and pleasant travel experience for all passengers while supporting the smooth daily operation of terminal services and facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the first point of contact for passengers by providing accurate information regarding terminal facilities, services, schedules, and directions.
- Assist passengers with enquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Handle passenger complaints and service recovery activities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor passenger flow and terminal areas to ensure smooth operations and a positive passenger experience.
- Provide assistance to elderly passengers, persons with disabilities (PWD), families with children, and other passengers requiring special attention.
- Make announcements and disseminate important information to passengers when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments, bus operators, security personnel, and relevant stakeholders to resolve passenger-related issues.
- Report operational issues, incidents, safety hazards, or passenger concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure terminal facilities, information counters, waiting areas, and passenger service areas are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
- Assist during emergencies, crowd control situations, and terminal operational disruptions in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare daily reports, incident reports, and other documentation as required.
- Perform duties on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, customer service standards, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) qualification with at least a credit in Mathematics.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and perform well under pressure.
- Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to remain professional, courteous, and calm when handling passenger enquiries and complaints.
- Experience or exposure in customer service, passenger relations, hospitality, retail, transportation, airport, terminal, or tourism-related environments will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of customer service standards, passenger handling procedures, and safety requirements will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
