Coming onboard as SMT / Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of machinery and equipment in the electronics manufacturing plant. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading various electronic systems and machinery used in the production process. You will work closely with other departments to minimize downtime, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to a safe work environment.

SMT Technician

• Ensure the cleanness of stencil and fixtures for SMT manufacturing use.
• Carry out SMT or product requirements and quality standards according to the SMT checklist requirements.
• Control of components drop page at the machine, debug if needed.
• Carry out the solder ability test for the expired components.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance of wave soldering machine.
• Creates profile boards and sets up profile parameters for wave soldering and re-flow machines.

Maintenance Technician

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including assembly lines, automated machines, robots, and electrical systems.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns or failures to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure all work orders, machine logs, and inventory records are up to date.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years working experience
• Experience with SMT production area (to handle & manage SMT line/machine).
• Proven experience with the maintenance of electronic equipment such as PCBs, circuit boards, automated machinery, and robotic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
