Procurement Order Specialist (Banking Industry) | Permanent Role

We are hiring a Procurement Order Specialist to support procurement operations within a leading organization in the banking industry. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of Purchase Orders (POs) and supporting overall procurement governance.

Job Type: Permanent

Experience Required: 3 – 6 years in Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain / Finance Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle)
• Validate Purchase Requisitions (PR) including pricing, quantity, vendor details, and approvals
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval workflows
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all procurement transactions
• Coordinate with vendors on PO issuance, order confirmation, and issue resolution
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Track PO status, delivery timelines, and order fulfillment
• Prepare reports and identify process improvement opportunities
• Support procurement process enhancements and ESG-related initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or related function
• Experience in Purchase Order (PO) and Purchase Requisition (PR) processing
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle is an advantage)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
