Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts for our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely financial reporting, handling daily accounting functions, and supporting the company's financial compliance requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull Set of Accounts
- Handle and maintain the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Flow management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and intercompany balances.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Accounts Receivable
- Generate customer invoices and ensure timely billing.
- Monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims.
- Ensure timely payment to vendors and service providers.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment issues.
Logistics Accounting Support
- Verify freight charges, transportation costs, customs-related expenses, and logistics service invoices.
- Monitor operational costs and ensure proper cost allocation.
- Assist in analyzing logistics-related expenses and profitability.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare GST/SST/VAT submissions (where applicable).
- Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, customers, suppliers, and government authorities.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
