As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

The Accounts Assistant will support the Accounts Head and accounting team in managing clients' accounting functions and ensuring timely preparation of financial information.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

  • Perform daily accounting data entry into accounting software systems.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing full sets of accounts for clients.
  • Prepare journal entries, general ledger postings, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update subsidiary ledgers, schedules, and accounting records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

  • Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
  • Assist in preparing customer invoices and monitoring collections.
  • Reconcile customer and supplier statements.
  • Follow up on outstanding documents and accounting information.

Bank & Financial Reconciliation

  • Perform bank reconciliations and cashbook maintenance.
  • Verify transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, contracts, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing documents required for audit, tax, SST, and statutory compliance purposes.
  • Support e-Invoicing documentation and compliance requirements where applicable.

Client Support

  • Liaise with clients to obtain accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Attend client offices when required to perform accounting assignments.
  • Assist in implementing accounting procedures and work instructions at client premises.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare accounting schedules, reports, and management information.
  • Support the Accounts Head in special assignments and projects.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month

Work Location: In person
