Admin & Operations Executive (Merchant Support)

Location: Gelugor Penang

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Admin & Operations Executive to support merchant onboarding, account management operations, and merchant support activities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, solving operational issues, and ensuring a smooth experience for business partners.

You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Merchant teams to process merchant registrations, maintain accurate records, support campaign participation, and handle merchant enquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify merchant registration applications and supporting documents.
  • Accurately update and maintain merchant information in internal systems.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle merchant enquiries and provide support through various communication channels.
  • Assist merchants with campaign participation, onboarding processes, and account-related matters.
  • Follow up on incomplete submissions and resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account activation.
  • Identify potential upselling opportunities and refer qualified leads to the Sales team.
  • Maintain proper documentation, records, and operational reports.
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 1-4 years of experience in Administration, Operations, Customer Service, Sales Support, Business Support, Account Management, or related fields are welcome.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Experience in F&B, e-commerce, retail, customer support, or operations environments is an advantage.
