Position Summary
We are seeking a meticulous, organized, and proactive Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our project team. This role is available on either a Full-Time or Part-Time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract administration, cost management, and ensuring project profitability. Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with construction cost management and project documentation are strictly required.
Key Responsibilities1. Cost Management & Estimation
- Prepare detailed budget estimates, cost plans, and procurement schedules for construction projects.
- Draft Bills of Quantities (BQ) and analyze tender documentation for accuracy.
- Perform cost comparisons and assist in the evaluation of project feasibility.
2. Contract Administration
- Manage project claims, including the preparation of interim valuations and progress claims for submission to clients.
- Verify, code, and process supplier and subcontractor invoices and claims.
- Monitor site progress to ensure work performed aligns with project schedules and contractual requirements.
3. Reporting & Reconciliation
- Prepare and manage Variation Orders (VO), ensuring proper documentation and timely approval.
- Perform monthly cost reconciliations and verify site progress against project expenditure.
- Maintain an organized, systematic, and secure physical and digital filing system for all project drawings, contracts, and financial correspondence.
4. Administrative & Ad-Hoc Support
- Liaise with internal team members, consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding contractual and billing discrepancies.
- Assist in year-end audit preparations and final account settlements.
- Perform any other ad-hoc project and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Education: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Software Skills: Mandatory proficiency in construction management software/systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word). Experience with AutoCount or similar accounting systems is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in construction project cost management.
- Fresh graduates with a strong academic background and technical knowledge are welcome to apply.
- Language: Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
