Responsibilities
Primary Objectives
· Lead and manage testers (IT and business users) to ensure timely delivery of test activities.
· Develop and maintain Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Approval Reports; review test deliverables from various teams.
· Oversee Test Management tasks including status reporting, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and coordination of meetings.
· Facilitate defect triage, manage critical issue escalations, and support resolution of environment and testing-related challenges.
· Coordinate Functional and Non-Functional testing, test data preparation, and guide teams in using test management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr.
· Ensure adherence to quality standards, test processes, and provide regular operational updates to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Minimum 13 years’ experience in Test Management, systems development lifecycle, with successful track record in leading, managing and delivering IT projects/program in functional testing and technical testing
· At least 10 - 12 years of working experience in Banking/Financial Institution environment and possesses business acumen and strategic planning abilities
· Has experience to manage a large team size of staffs (direct employee). Leading a team of Test Management Professionals comprising Test Managers, Test Leads, and Test Analysts
· Has experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and testing tools for functional and technical
· At least 5-10 years of experience in leading large IT program teams in Banking related domains in testing areas
· ISTQB - CTAL-TM Certification is mandatory
· Mandatory knowledge on Jira and Confluence
· Experience managing Waterfall and Agile Testing Project
· Expected to be available to work extended hours, when necessary, to support critical delivery timelines and ensure timely completion of project deliverables
Job Description
· Guide and manage the Testers (IT, Business User) in day-to-day deliverables
· Create Project Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Approval Report
· Review test deliverables developed by Test Lead/vendor/business users
· Develop Daily/Weekly status report
· Manage overall testing deliverables for reviews and signoff
· Facilitate communication between different stakeholder teams of project / CR
· Perform Test Management activities (e.g. assist PM for PSC update, risk mitigation action plan, manage stakeholders during testing phase, lead and arrange meetings with key stakeholders pertaining to test planning, assist PM on activity Post Implementation)
· Support getting the clarity on testing requirements
· Lead the defect triage meetings and review defect information
· Responsible for reporting all the applicable metrics / SLAs as per communication plan
· Provide support during testing escalations
· Ensure timely escalations of critical issues to the test management
· Interacting with IT team for resolving environment related issues and any support requirements
· Coordinate & manage Functional and Non-Functional test whenever necessary.
· Coordinate Test Data preparation
· Provide guidance to project team to use JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr as bank’s test management tool
· Ensure quality of deliverables by review, test process adherence and monitoring
· Provide operational / day to day status reports project stakeholders
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
