At MK Tech & Engineering Sdn Bhd, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a range of sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a competent and reliable Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial health and accounting operations.

Job Overview:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling the company’s accounts and financial reporting functions. This role will ensure accurate and timely reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and support strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate data entry.
• Assist in tax filing, audit processes, and statutory submissions (e.g., SST, EPF, SOCSO, PCB).
• Monitor cash flow, handle payment processing and collections.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders when required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or others).
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiar with Malaysian tax and statutory requirements.
• Able to start work immediately or with short notice is an added advantage.
