YOUR ROLE

• Oversees and set priorities for the Ocean Export Team
• Monitor the quality of service, including documents produced by site team
• To ensure excellent customer service support and profitability

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

• Manage export transactions including all related activities for an assigned base of accounts
• Expenditures transactions and tasks to meet customer expectations and government requirements
• Develop and maintain excellent service to internal and external customers at all times
• Negotiate rates with Carriers
• Perform duties related to document preparation and traffic coordination required to correctly process export shipments in a cost-effective manner
• Monitor the quality of service produced by the team
• Monitor KPI’s

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level
• Minimum Two (2) years’ of relevant working experience
• Requires strong understanding of export consolidation process
• Requires knowledge of Ocean Carrier selection, NVOCC terminology and methods
• Knowledge in tradenet operations and computer literate
• Good communication and customer service skills
