Responsibilities

As a HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving HR strategies, programs, and initiatives to support the organization’s goals. This role requires a leader who excels in talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR compliance. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex HR functions. The Manager will be managing HR Functions across the AFED Holdings organizations.


Responsibilities


1.HR Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, and employee engagement activities.
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and implement proactive solutions.


2.Talent Recruitment and Management:

  • Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Develop and manage a structured onboarding process.
  • Drive talent development programs including leadership training, career progression plans, and succession planning.


3.Employee Relation and Engagement:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and employees on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and dispute management.
  • Foster a positive work environment and employee engagement through initiatives, surveys, and action plans.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.


4.Performance Management and Development:

  • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations.
  • Advise managers on performance improvement plans, coaching, and training programs.
  • Ensure that employees’ development needs are addressed through training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.


5.Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational needs and legal requirements.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring equity and competitiveness.


6.HR System:

  • Maintain HR systems and processes
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and other HR-related systems.
  • Utilize HRIS and other systems to track and analyse HR data and generate reports for senior leadership.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale HR programs and projects.
  • Deep understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operational HR tasks.
  • Expertise in talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
  • Strong decision-making skills, problem-solving ability, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
