ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking for a versatile and result-oriented Technical Key Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales team. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, fostering strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth within our key accounts. The ideal candidate not only possesses a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions but also has strong technical sales capabilities, enabling effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 


QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the cybersecurity, cloud, or IT solutions industry. 
  2. Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, products and industry best practices
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  4. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  5. Agility and adaptability to thrive in fast paced, evolving startup atmosphere, managing multiple roles effectively


RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Technical Solution Selling

  • Effectively communicate the technical features and benefits of our cybersecurity solutions to clients
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical presentations to showcase our offerings

2) Strategic Account Management 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the cybersecurity sector, including IT and security decision-makers
  • Understand clients’ technical requirements and align our solutions to meet their cybersecurity needs

3) Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Identify and capitalize on technical upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by leveraging technical expertise in solution selling

4) Collaboration with Technical Teams

  • Work closely with out technical teams to ensure a deep understanding of product roadmaps, updates and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers to tailor solutions based on client-specific technical requirements

5) Market Analysis

  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes and emerging technologies
  • Provide technical insights to the leadership team for the development of effective sales strategies 

6) Customer Advocacy

  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring that customer feedback is communicated and addressed promptly
  • Work closely with the customer support and product teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction

7) Contract Negotiation

  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable for both the client and the company 
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements and contracts


SALARY RANGE: RM 6,000 - RM9,000 with commission
