Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Senior Test Analyst based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Test Analyst will design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios across multiple projects, ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are thoroughly validated. This role involves collaborating closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and identify potential risks early in the lifecycle. The Senior Test Analyst will manage test cycles, track defects from identification through resolution, and provide clear, concise test reports and metrics to stakeholders. The role also includes mentoring junior testers, contributing to test process improvements, and ensuring adherence to established quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Finance, Banking, MIS, IT or equivalent experience

·      6-10 years’ experience as a Senior Test Analyst or Test Analyst in large and medium complexity IT Projects

·      Understanding of testing technologies, specifically writing Test Plans, Test specifications and Test Reports

·      Having technical skill in automation scripting’s or coding as developer

·      Experience in Banking industry.

Requirement

·      Create & develop Test Plan, Test Cases and Reporting Test Results.

·      With IT Software Testing Phases and Testing concepts, RCA (Rootcause Analysis Technique & Process), Test Metric & Measurement.

·      Has good knowledge specific to industry like CARDS (i.e: credit card visa/master, debit card, amex, JCB for CFS (Customer Facing System) domain

·      General ability to use a personal computer with familiarity in business applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Outlook.

·      Use of test management tools, defect tracking systems (i.e: JIRA) and version control systems (i.e: GitHub)

·      Testing Experiences (i.e: Test Execution) and Experiences with defect management tools, i.e: JIRA

·      Automation scripting tools knowledge & experiences
