Role Description This is a contract, on-site AI Solution Project Manager role based in Kuala Lumpur. The AI Solution Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of AI and automation projects, from requirements gathering and solution scoping to implementation, testing, and rollout. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards. The person in this position will work directly with clients to understand business challenges, translate them into AI use cases, and align technical teams on clear objectives and milestones. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining project plans, managing risks and dependencies, facilitating stakeholder meetings, preparing status reports, and supporting change management and user adoption activities for AI solutions.
Qualifications

• Strong Project Management and Program Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Proven Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate AI use cases, and support decisions on scope, priorities, and success metrics.
• Excellent Communication and Consulting skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide clear recommendations.
• Experience managing AI, data, or software implementation projects, preferably in a client-facing or technology services environment.
• Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g., machine learning, automation, data pipelines) and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur, collaborate in a team setting, and manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage.
