Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

This internship offers hands-on exposure to real operational and project activities within a professional, collaborative and multinational environment. The intern will support day-to-day tasks and work closely with cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for students who are eager to learn how teams work together, gain practical experience and support ongoing projects. At Skyways Technics, we have a responsibility to expose students to working life, so they are better prepared to manage expectations when they enter the industry.

Workshops & Capability Development

Position Overview:

  • Support repair/process capability development activities.
  • Assist in testing, trials, and First Article Inspection (FAI) under supervision.
  • Support basic project coordination and progress tracking.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and documentation for projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio, Project) to support documentation and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and project documents.
  • Support daily activities and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Technical Services

Position Overview:

  • Assist Technical Services Engineer in daily Technical Support
  • Assist Technical Services Engineer to conduct technical review on the Airworthiness Directive issued by the relevant authorities
  • Assist Technical Services Engineer to Conduct Maintenance Data review.
  • Involved with the assigned project

Planning

Position Overview:

  • Support the Planning team in coordinating maintenance activities and tracking component maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and reviewing work orders and maintenance data.
  • Support planners in forecasting component and aircraft maintenance requirements.
  • Assist with daily production planning meetings and progress tracking.
  • Update maintenance tracking systems under supervision.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Technical Services, and Procurement teams as required.
  • Monitor task status, component TAT, and delivery timelines, and escalate potential delays.
  • Assist with data analysis for internal daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
  • Participate in meetings, note-taking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Procurement

Position Overview:

  • Support procurement activities for aircraft parts, materials, and services.
  • Assist in preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and purchase orders.
  • Conduct basic market research to identify suppliers and compare pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Logistics, Finance) to support procurement needs.
  • Assist in cost analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support contract review and negotiation activities under supervision.
  • Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to procurement process improvement initiatives.

Compliance Monitoring & Safety

Position Overview:

  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining quality and safety documentation, including procedures, manuals, and records.
  • Support internal audits, inspections, and surveillance activities by preparing documents and tracking findings.
  • Participate in quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support day-to-day quality and safety activities and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Stores & Logistics

Position Overview:

  • Support daily logistics and store operations, including receiving, issuing, and storage of aircraft parts and materials.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and updating stock movements in the system.
  • Support verification of incoming parts against documentation such as delivery notes, certificates, and packing lists.
  • Assist in organizing, labelling, and maintaining proper storage of materials in accordance with store procedures.
  • Support coordination of inbound and outbound shipments with internal teams and logistics providers.
  • Assist in tracking shipments, delivery status, and turnaround times.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance store efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support day-to-day logistics and store activities and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Digital Marketing

Position Overview:

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing activities across the website, social media, and email platforms.
  • Assist in creating and updating marketing content, including posts, visuals, captions, and basic copywriting.
  • Support content scheduling, publishing, and basic performance tracking.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website and digital marketing materials.
  • Help prepare simple marketing reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Work with internal teams to support branding and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with basic market research and competitor analysis.
  • Support daily digital marketing activities and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Open to students currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Able to commit to an internship of at least 3 months.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic aviation MRO environment.
  • A team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Visio, and Project.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks responsibly with minimal supervision.
  • Able to join immediately.
