Job Description

Responsibilities

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing daily IT support to employees and ensuring that the company's IT systems, devices, and networks operate smoothly. The role is based at the company's headquarters but requires regular travel to branch offices and project sites across Singapore to provide onsite support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support

- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees.

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, email, and network issues.

- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.

- Assist users with Microsoft Office, email accounts, and company applications.

Site Support

- Visit branch offices and project sites to provide onsite IT assistance.

- Install, replace, and maintain IT equipment.

- Support office moves, workstation setups, and new employee onboarding.

System Monitoring

- Monitor the health and performance of IT systems and networks.

- Identify and report potential issues before they impact operations.

- Escalate complex issues to vendors or senior IT personnel when required.

Asset Management

- Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and software licenses.

- Track the issuance and return of company IT assets.

- Coordinate repairs and warranty claims with vendors.

Documentation

- Update support tickets and maintain accurate records of IT issues.

- Prepare basic documentation and user guides when required.

Security & Compliance

- Follow company IT security policies and procedures.

- Ensure antivirus, software updates, and security measures are maintained.

- Report any security incidents or suspicious activities.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking.

- Good troubleshooting andproblem-solving skills.

- Good communication and customerservice skills.

- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

- Willing to travel to various locations across Singapore.

- Previous experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.

- Knowledge of Active Directory, networking, and cloud services.

- Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
