Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in acquiring new customers within the freight forwarding and logistics industry through proactive outbound sales calls, emails, and follow-ups.

• Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with existing customers.

• Identify potential sales opportunities and assist in building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.

• Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to freight services, rates, and shipment status.

• Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

• Prepare quotations, freight rates, and basic sales proposals in accordance with customer requirements.

• Assist in negotiating freight rates and commercial terms with customers under supervision.

• Conduct basic market research on customers, trade lanes, and competitor activities.

• Support tender, RFQ, and quotation submissions when required.

• Follow up on customer feedback and assist in resolving service-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and reports in internal systems.

• Provide regular updates on sales activities and customer developments to management.
