Are you a seasoned Network Security leader with a proven track record in architecture, strategy, and team management? Our client, a leading global bank with a significant regional presence, is seeking a Head of Network Security Architecture to lead and shape the bank’s network strategy while managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment of the bank’s current network and network security architecture, define the target state, and develop a strategic roadmap to achieve it.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of network and network security architecture, ensuring alignment with the bank’s IT and security policies.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex network and security issues, providing guidance to L1/L2 teams and other technical stakeholders.
• Build, mentor, and manage a team of network architects and engineers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure SLAs are met and technical solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Drive innovation in network and security technologies, including SD-WAN, cloud integration, and emerging network security solutions.
• Partner with senior leadership to align network strategies with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in Network and Network Security, with a strong mix of hands-on engineering, architecture, and leadership experience.
• Proven experience in designing and managing complex network and security environments, including firewalls, proxies, load balancers, routing & switching, WAN, and WLAN.
• Demonstrated expertise in SD-WAN deployment and management.
• Experience with Zscaler administration, integration, and other cloud-based security technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at senior executive levels.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering architecture roadmaps that align with business objectives.
