Performance Marketing Executive

Location: SS15, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia (office-based position)

Salary Range: RM2,800 to RM3,500

Zapeus is a Performance Marketing agency running paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google for clients in 50+ industries across 8 countries.

On top of that, you'll have clear SOPs, weekly check-ins with your manager, and a team that genuinely wants to see you succeed.

You'll have guidance from day one, and a clear path to know exactly where you stand and what "good" looks like at every stage.

What we need from you is the willingness to learn, the maturity to take ownership, and the ability to pick things up quickly.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work on real ad campaigns for real clients, setting up, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns across Meta platforms with guidance from your manager. Day to day, that includes:

Setting up and optimizing ad campaigns (with SOPs and support)

Monitoring performance data and learning to spot what needs to change

Writing ad copy for client campaigns

Briefing designers on visuals

Helping prepare monthly reports

Communicating with clients on updates and progress

Tracking competitor activity and client brand presence

Set up and monitor chatbots

As you grow (typically 4 to 6 months in), you'll take on more responsibility: joining client meetings, managing more accounts, handling other platforms, and working more independently.

Who We're Looking For

You're coachable. You take feedback well, ask questions when you're unsure, and genuinely want to get better, not just look like you already know everything.

You have some working experience. Whether in marketing, agency, PR, sales, creative, or client-servicing, you've held a role where you carried real responsibilities and worked with a team. Direct performance marketing experiences is not required but is a bonus

You understand marketing basics. You know what a target audience is. You can explain what makes an ad work. You're curious about how digital marketing actually drives results.

You communicate clearly. In English, written and spoken. You can explain your thinking without rambling. Mandarin is a bonus.

You think logically. You can break a problem into steps and reason through it without overcomplicating things.

You're honest. We'd rather hear "I don't know yet" than watch someone fake it. At Zapeus, transparency is a core value, not a slogan.

You manage your time well. You can juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver assigned work within agreed timelines without needing to be chased.
