The National AI Educators Fellowship (NAiEF) is Malaysia's first program dedicated to the classroom implementation and evidence-based use of AI in education. Focusing on teacher productivity, student STEM readiness, and equitable implementation of AI, NAiEF transforms technology access into practical instructional impact. Through a five-tier professional pathway, the fellowship empowers educators to apply AI effectively, from classroom deployment to national education leadership. Partnering with globally recognised organisations like Microsoft Learn and Cisco AI Academy, NAiEF aligns its frameworks with international standards such as UNESCO and ISTE. The fellowship emphasizes verified classroom application, ensuring participants make tangible contributions to the advancement of AI-enabled teaching.
Role Description
The Project & Partnerships Executive supports the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives that advance AI, digital education, workforce development, and innovation ecosystems.
Working closely with industry partners, government agencies, universities, technology companies, and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will help drive program implementation, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and organizational growth.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive, and technology-savvy individual who enjoys managing multiple projects, working with diverse stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful initiatives at the intersection of education, technology, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM DELIVERY
- Coordinate end-to-end execution of educational, technology, innovation, and AI-focused programs across both online and in-person formats.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, work schedules, meeting calendars, and status reports.
- Track project deliverables, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage RAID logs, CAPA tracking, action registers, and follow-up activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate with internal teams, volunteers, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Support the planning and execution of workshops, conferences, industry engagements, competitions, webinars, and community events.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
- Research, identify, engage, and maintain relationships with industry, government, academic, nonprofit, and technology stakeholders.
- Support partnership discussions, outreach initiatives, collaboration opportunities, and ecosystem-building efforts.
- Coordinate communications and follow-ups with strategic partners and external organizations.
- Assist in developing stakeholder engagement plans and partnership pipelines.
- Represent the organization professionally during meetings, networking events, and partner engagements where required.
PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT, RESEARCH & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Conduct research on emerging technologies, AI trends, education innovation, government initiatives, grants, sponsorship opportunities, and funding programs.
- Develop partnership proposals, concept papers, sponsorship decks, capability statements, briefing notes, and presentation materials.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and strategic insights for leadership and external stakeholders.
- Assist in grant applications, empanelment submissions, partnership proposals, and business development initiatives.
- Support the identification of new partnership and growth opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.
MARKETING, BRANDING & TECHNOLOGY ENABLEMENT
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, presentations, reports, newsletters, and stakeholder communications.
- Support digital outreach activities across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Coordinate branding consistency across programs, events, campaigns, and external communications.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, research, content creation, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
- Support website updates, webinar platforms, digital learning initiatives, and technology-enabled projects where required.
OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, document key discussions, and track action items.
- Maintain project documentation, stakeholder databases, reporting systems, and organizational records.
- Support procurement processes, vendor management, budgeting activities, and administrative coordination.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, reporting requirements, and governance standards.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Pursuing or having recently completed a Bachelor's degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment, with the ability to manage tasks independently and provide regular progress updates.
- Strong research, analytical, presentation development, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in artificial intelligence (AI), innovation, education, digital transformation, or emerging technologies.
PREFERRED
- Prior internship, volunteer, leadership, project, or work experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, DALL·E, Gamma, Genspark, Canva AI, OpusClip, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting projects, programs, events, competitions, workshops, or community initiatives.
- Experience with event management activities, including timeline management, vendor coordination, stakeholder engagement, development of event materials, and on-site operations.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, KPI dashboards, spreadsheets, or workflow management platforms such as Asana, Trello, ClickUp, *************, or equivalent.
- Experience preparing professional reports, proposals, sponsorship decks, presentations, or funding applications.
- Experience engaging with educational institutions, government agencies, industry partners, NGOs, or technology organizations is an added advantage.
