Job Description:

CMM Operation & Programming

Setup, operate, and program CMM equipment to inspect machined parts and components.

Dimensional Inspection

Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM, as well as standard precision hand tools (micrometres, callipers, height gauges, thread gauges).

Blueprint Reading

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.

Data & Documentation

Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

Collaboration

Work closely with the machining and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven, hands-on experience running and/or programming CMMs (proficiency with Zeiss CALYPSO software is highly preferred).
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles per ASME Y14.5.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using traditional mechanical inspection equipment.
• Analytical mindset with a sharp eye for identifying defects or deviations from specifications.
• Good verbal communication skills for documenting technical reports and collaborating with team members.
