Responsibilities
1. Responsible to monitor on cleanliness at podium, toilets, external compound & perimeter areas, offices, staircases, roof top, high rise internal & external cleaning, back of house area and car park lobbies via daily/periodic inspections with the housekeeping services contractors.
2. Carry out housekeeping projects or special tasks given by the superiors related to the housekeeping services.
Overall Responsibilities:
1. Attend daily staff deployment briefing by cleaning services contractor and ensure execution of assignments assigned by shift leader.
2. Monitor and check the work of the outsourced workers at the designated point of service assigned.
3. Inform the outsourced cleaners or their supervisor on the areas that need immediate attention.
4. Daily and/or periodic joint inspections with the cleaning contractor’s Executive/Supervisors on cleanliness at the podium and car park, common areas, toilets, lift & escalators lobbies, offices, emergency exits & staircases, customer lifts, cargo lifts, bomba lifts, internal and external high rise glass panels, back of house area and external compound & perimeter.
5. Ensure that the contractor place the competent cleaning workers in order to ensure the cleaning service provided is satisfactory, efficient and prompt.
6. Ensure that the contractors to complete all the cleaning works as per the Jobs Specifications attached in the contract.
7. Ensure the contractor adhere and comply to the followings:
(a) The cleaning standard required by the management of the Mall.
(b) Uses only the right chemical and environmental hazard free chemical for the cleaning service provided to the Mall.
(c) Possess adequate machinery/equipment, sufficient supply of chemical and consumable items for the cleaning jobs.
(d) Follow up on the schedule for hygiene services such as replacement of sanitary bin, air freshener and urinal deodorizer.
(e) Follow the instructions and rules by the management of the Mall.
(f) Conduct adequate on-the-job training to their workers periodically.
8. Liaise with the contractor’s supervisors to get the work done and to identify areas that need re-training and improvement.
9. Ensure proper records on reported complaints and incidents.
10. To act as Shift Leader on a rotational basis. When act as a Shift Leader, to plan the night shift work and carry out evaluations on the following day.
11. Solve arising problems during daily inspection or refer to the superiors for immediate assistance.
12. Co-ordinate the work with other supervisors within Housekeeping Department and other related departments in order to ensure task completion.
13. To monitor and report on the waste disposal, pest control and landscaping issues in the absence of other supervisors.
14. To perform any other duties and special tasks as assigned by the superiors from time to time.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
