KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A) TROUBLESHOOTING AND SUPPORT:

• Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues efficiently.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications hosted on windows and linux servers, where applicable
• Proficiency in desktop operating systems (windows, macos) and desktop hardware components.

B) NETWORKING SUPPORT

• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (tcp/ip, dns, dhcp, vlans, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and network management tools.

C) SERVER SUPPORT

• Familiarity with desktop virtualization technologies (vdi, vmware horizon, citrix).

D) DOCUMENTATION

• Maintain technical documentation for all areas of IT infrastructure for PJ and Cyberjaya offices
• Ensure periodic updates are made to reflect IT infrastructure changes

E) COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and qa testers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in team meetings, providing updates on progress and discussing any challenges.

F) CONTINUOUS LEARNING

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
• Actively seek opportunities for professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.

G) COMPLIANCE AND SECURITY

• Ensure that applications meet security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the security team to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field
• 5 years of Industry certifications such as comptia a+, network+, ccna, or similar.
• 3 years of experience with cloud platforms and services (aws, azure, google cloud).
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (powershell, bash) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and practices.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
