Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to oversee and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for high-rise building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of M&E activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate M&E activities with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Review and monitor M&E design drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Ensure M&E installations comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure work is carried out according to approved schedules.
• Prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and project updates for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in M&E construction works, with substantial experience in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction practices, and local authority requirements.
• Experience in project planning, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
