Job Responsibilities
As an Account Payable Executive, you will play a key role in managing the company's financial obligations while supporting efficient cash flow management and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Process supplier invoices, Delivery Orders (DO), and payment documentation efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure prompt payments to suppliers in accordance with company policies and cash flow planning.
- Review and reconcile supplier accounts regularly to maintain accurate records and financial accountability.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to support smooth business operations and future opportunities.
- Monitor outstanding payables and provide timely reporting and analysis to management.
- Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Department to optimize payment schedules and maximize company cash flow.
- Prepare monthly purchase closing stock reports for SST reporting purposes.
- Manage SST-related matters, including maintaining accurate SST worksheets and ensuring compliance with SST regulations.
- Ensure adherence to SST and Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department on supplier disputes, product defects, credit notes, and refund claims.
- Handle utility bill payments, employee claims, and other operational disbursements.
- Support the Account Manager in developing and implementing effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Analyze payable data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and financial performance.
- Continuously review and enhance supplier payment controls and AP processes.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
- Knowledge of SST regulations and LMW requirements will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
