Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
- Warmly greet customers and assist parents-to-be, families, and gift-buyers in navigating the store.
- Actively listen to customer needs, lifestyle requirements, and budgets to recommend the best baby gear (strollers, car seats, high chairs, nursery furniture, etc.).
- Guide customers through the baby registry process, helping them create and manage their lists.
- Meet or exceed personal and store sales targets while providing a pressure-free, supportive shopping experience.
Product Expertise & Demonstrations
- Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, such as showing how to safely fold/unfold strollers, adjust harnesses, and install car seat bases.
- Maintain a deep, up-to-date knowledge of the latest baby gear trends, brands, and safety features.
- Educate customers on product safety standards, warranties, and care instructions to ensure they feel confident in their purchases.
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Unpack new inventory, restock shelves, and ensure all items are correctly priced and tagged.
- Set up and maintain clean, attractive, and organized floor displays for large baby gear.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and notify management of low stock levels on popular items.
Requirements (Optional but recommended to include):
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience (experience with baby products, toys, or juvenile industries is a strong plus).
- Ability to learn and retain detailed product specifications and safety guidelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach to assisting expectant parents.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move bulky items (like boxed car seats or cribs) up to 10- 15kgs
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
