JOB TITLE: Technician
REPORTS TO: Laboratory Manager

JOB PURPOSE

To carry out chemical testing of water, construction materials, metallic samples in ETS-Testconsult’s
Environmental and Chemical division.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
General summary of major areas of activities and responsibilities. This is not a list of exclusive duties but a sampling of day-to-day
actions.
1. To carry out daily environmental monitoring woks including air quality, noise and water quality
monitoring on site
2. Prepare testing samples and generate reports
3. Undertake any other duties assigned

MAJOR CHALLENGES

Carrying out a batch of samples and/or handle multiple tests at the same time. This is overcome by
providing training on-the-job and becomes less challenging with experience.

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS
Identify the requirements necessary for MINIMUM PROFICIENCY on the job.
Educational requirements: F. 5 or above
Years of experience: 1 to 2 years working experience
Other: Driving licence is preferred
