About the Roles
Marine Services is seeking an Operations Executive based in Bukit Merah to oversee day-to-day bunker operations and vessel coordination. This is a permanent position with structured weekday hours (Mon–Fri, 9:30am–5:30pm), offering a competitive basic salary of up to $6,000 along with a variable bonus, supporting both career stability and work-life balance in a dynamic maritime environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate daily bunker activities and manage vessel scheduling to ensure smooth operational flow
- Liaise with vessel masters, barge operators, surveyors, suppliers, and port authorities to arrange bunker deliveries
- Monitor bunker loading and discharge processes to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to procedures
- Prepare, verify, and maintain key maritime documentation, including Bunker Delivery Notes (BDN), cargo documents, delivery reports, port documentation, and Statements of Facts (SOF)
- Track vessel movements and provide timely operational updates to customers and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of cargo quantities, fuel transfers, and inventory movements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, maritime regulations, and internal operational procedures through regular checks
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues, claims, discrepancies, and delays
- Support post-delivery activities and assist in resolving day-to-day operational matters
- Maintain proper filing systems and ensure all operational records are accurately documented
- Prepare operational reports and provide management with regular updates
- Assist in incident response activities when required
- Ensure adherence to company policies, maritime regulations, and industry standards
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in bunker operations, shipping operations, tanker operations, or the maritime industry
- Familiarity with Singapore port operations and bunker procedures will be advantageous
- Good understanding of maritime documentation and operational workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to support operational needs outside standard working hours when required
