Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

  • To oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the maintenance function.
  • To supervise and guide technicians in daily tasks and event support.
  • To plan, manage and ensure the effective setup and operation of sound and video equipment for events at the Club.


Job Responsibilities

  • To supervise and support clubhouse operations, including acting in the absence of higher management when required.
  • To lead, monitor and assign daily tasks to AV technicians, ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to standards.
  • To plan and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as per schedule.
  • To review and ensure completion of daily checklists and maintenance reports.
  • To oversee the setup, installation and operation of audiovisual equipment, including speakers, monitors, projectors, and related systems.
  • To ensure proper testing of audio, video and signal systems and lead troubleshooting when issues arise.
  • To manage inventory of audiovisual equipment, wiring, and accessories, including tracking and replenishment.
  • To coordinate and support all Club events, ensuring AV requirements are met smoothly.
  • To liaise with vendors and contractors when necessary for maintenance, repair, or upgrades.
  • To ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of equipment.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by Management.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Audio Visual Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AV/technical support, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, including sound systems, projectors, LED screens, and related equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting AV equipment and handling event setups.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on event requirements.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
