Role Description The Event Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end event planning, including gathering client requirements, preparing proposals, and assisting with event concepts and themes. The Event Executive will liaise with vendors, venues, and internal teams to manage bookings, timelines, logistics, and budgets. Day-to-day tasks include preparing event documentation, tracking expenses, coordinating setup and teardown, and ensuring all event elements run smoothly on the day. The role also involves attending client meetings, conducting site visits, supporting marketing or promotional activities related to events, and providing post-event reports and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills to handle multiple events and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in planning and executing events.
  • Comfort with basic budgeting, cost tracking, and use of office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software).
  • Ability to work on-site during events, including evenings or weekends when required.
  • Previous experience in event management, hospitality, or marketing is an advantage.
  • Diploma or degree in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
