1. Qualification

Certificate in electronics, electrical, mechatronic technology, or a related field.

Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620 will be an advantage.

2. Relevant Work Experience

Wire Harness Assembly:

Hand-on with at least 5-year experiences in cable harness assembly independently is the MUST.

Experience in FA and manufacturing environments, particularly with cable harness assembly includes crimping, and soldering of wire harnesses. Hands-on experience with assembly of wiring, cable management, connectors, and terminals.

Drawing Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wire harness diagrams to follow the correct assembly process.

Quality Control:

Experience with inspecting wire harnesses for quality standards, checking for defects, ensuring proper measurements, and testing for functionality.

Knowledge of setting the measuring equipment such as tester and other measuring equipment.

3. Skills Required

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools such as crimpers (Crimping machine and hand crimping tools), wire strippers, and soldering irons. Familiarity with cable testing equipment and wire cutting machines.

Knowledge of Materials: Understanding different types of wires, cables, connectors, terminals and insulation materials used in wire harnesses.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process, including finding and correcting defects or inefficiencies.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all wire harness components are accurately assembled and meet design specifications.

4. Safety Knowledge

Adherence to safety standards is critical in manufacturing environments. You should be familiar with personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of materials, and general workplace safety protocols.

5. Teamwork and Communication

Ability to work as part of a team, collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other assembly line workers, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

6. Soft Skills

Able to use Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and etc.
