Company Description Aethryx is building the infrastructure layer for governed, scalable enterprise AI, helping organizations move from experimentation to production-grade deployment. As AI systems evolve toward autonomous, agentic workflows, Aethryx provides the institutional backbone to ensure trust, auditability, policy alignment, and operational resilience at scale. Its unified platform spans AI trust and decision assurance, agent and model observability, temporal knowledge graph infrastructure, and policy-aware agentic execution. Designed for financial institutions, digital asset platforms, critical infrastructure providers, and other regulated enterprises across APAC, the platform aligns with leading standards such as AI Verify, MAS FEAT, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act. Aethryx enables enterprises to build the governance backbone for the next generation of enterprise intelligence.
Role Description As a Founding Engineer at Aethryx, you will design, build, and scale core platform components that underpin governed enterprise AI deployments. You will work closely with the founders on full-stack architecture decisions, from distributed backend services and data infrastructure to APIs, SDKs, and integrations with customer systems. Day to day, you will translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical designs, implement production-grade services, write tests, review code, and contribute to observability, performance, and security practices. You will collaborate with product, design, and go-to-market teammates to refine features, participate in customer discussions, and contribute to documentation and developer experience. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site collaboration and flexibility for work from home.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems concepts, and production-grade coding practices.
- Experience designing and implementing backend services (e.g., microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven architectures) using modern programming languages such as Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI/ML or data-intensive systems, such as working with LLMs, vector databases, knowledge graphs, or model/agent orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, or governance in regulated environments (e.g., finance, critical infrastructure), and an interest in AI risk, monitoring, or policy enforcement.
- Comfort working across the stack, from databases and infrastructure to APIs and, when needed, lightweight front-end or dashboard implementations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment: owning end-to-end features, making pragmatic trade-offs, and contributing to engineering processes
