Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting  

  • Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.  
  • Respond to technical queries from internal staff via phone, email, or in person.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, WAN, and other system-related problems.  
  • Run diagnostic programs to identify, isolate, and resolve technical issues.  
  • Guide users through the problem-solving process and follow up to confirm issue resolution.  

 

2. IT Infrastructure & Peripheral Management  

  • Maintain the daily performance, stability, and reliability of computer systems.  
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer peripherals, network printers, and office hardware for users.  
  • Ensure full network, color, and printing compatibility for a mixed-OS workspace supporting both Windows and macOS (MacBook) systems.  
  • Coordinate with external technical vendors for hardware leasing (e.g., office copiers/printers) and equipment maintenance.  
  • Lead technical upgrades and workspace scaling projects (eg., assessing, proposing and deploying new office hardware/infrastructure); evaluate vendor contracts to optimize cost and performance. 

 

3. Asset Management & Security Governance  

  • Track, audit, and manage the full lifecycle of all corporate IT assets using the internal Asset Tracking System.  
  • Execute strict IT offboarding protocols for departing employees, including the immediate revocation of system credentials, data wiping, and coordinate the removal of facility/biometric access permissions on the same day.  
  • Manage identity, user permissions, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Intune.  
  • Design, continuously audit, and enforce enterprise-grade asset tracking workflows and offboarding protocols to eliminate compliance risks. 

 

4. Documentation & Compliance  

  • Ensure technical documentation, knowledge bases, and inventory lists are kept up to date.  
  • Perform regular system housekeeping and compliance audits. 
  • Draft, publish, and secure stakeholder alignment for formal IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ensuring organization-wide compliance with internal and external audits during periods of restricting or growth. 
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks assigned by the immediate superior.  

 


Key Requirements 

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.  
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar technical helpdesk or systems administration role.  
  • Enterprise Systems & Microsoft 365 Cloud Ecosystem: Proficiency in Microsoft Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Admin Center / Microsoft Azure; hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 core applications and administration; familiarity with Exchange Server management.  
  • Cross-Platform Competency: Proven capability in configuring, deploying, and diagnosing macOS devices alongside traditional Windows endpoints.  
  • Access Control: Familiarity with managing physical security access systems (e.g., thumbprint registration/biometrics) and digital identity lifecycles.
