Job Description

• Manage end-to-end RFQ process through the eProcurement system and meet the process turnaround time as required.
• Manage PR and PO processing through the eProcurement system/manual and meet the process turnaround time as required.
• Perform cost analysis and price benchmarking on supplier pricing based on historical purchase data in the eProcurement system and CMMS system.
• Price negotiation with suppliers to obtain the best and most competitive price for RFQ and track cost savings progress against target.
• Support vendor management related matters in the VMS (Vendor Management System) which includes new vendor registration, obtaining complete vendor information, and vendor status updates.
• Feedback on supplier performance and highlighting supplier issues to the Sourcing & Vendor Management officer.
• Ensure sufficient numbers of suppliers are available for RFQ execution for the respective purchase category and provide feedback to the Sourcing & Vendor Management officer for new supplier sourcing requirements.
• Support sourcing activities for non-critical items and provide data to the sourcing & Vendor Management officer to develop effective sourcing strategies for respective purchase categories.
• Provide advice and status updates to end-user on the pricing and commercial matters related to the RFQ.
• To perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Superiors.
• Any other responsibilities that may be required, in the interests of the Company from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Holds Diploma/Certificate in procurement, supply chain, business, management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in related field.
