H.K.L. Metal Works Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, health and environmental compliance of our construction operations. As Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety standards across all project activities, protecting our workforce and upholding our commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities

1. Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive site safety policies, procedures and protocols in accordance with Malaysian safety regulations and industry best practices

2. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards

3. Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near-miss events, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

4. Provide induction and safety training to all site personnel, contractors and visitors, ensuring they understand site-specific hazards and safety requirements

5. Maintain detailed safety records, incident reports, inspection logs and compliance documentation as required by regulatory authorities

6. Liaise with project management, contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure continuous communication regarding safety matters and compliance requirements

7. Monitor the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all safety equipment is fit for purpose and regularly inspected

8. Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings to reinforce safety culture and address emerging risks on site

9. Manage emergency response procedures and ensure all personnel are prepared for potential incidents

10. Report on safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to minimise risk and enhance site safety culture

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years' experience working as a Safety Supervisor or similar health and safety role within the construction industry

2. Thorough knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other relevant safety legislation and regulations

3. Must possess valid Yellow Book (registered with JKKP/DOSH).

4. Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies

5. Strong understanding of construction site operations, equipment and associated hazards

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage personnel at all levels

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software

8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation

9. Certification in First Aid and CPR is advantageous

10. Valid driving licence is preferred
