Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, for a Security Control Room Officer. The role will be responsible for monitoring and operating security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, and communication equipment, to ensure the safety of university premises. The role involves responding to security incidents, deploying appropriate measures, and maintaining detailed logs and reports of activities. Additional duties include providing coordination during emergencies, enforcing access control protocols, and conducting routine inspections to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with security policies.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Duress Alarm systems, and communication tools.
  • Strong observational, situational awareness, and incident reporting skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergencies, follow procedures, and coordinate with relevant teams.
  • Experience in access control management and enforcement of security protocols.
  • Basic computer literacy for report writing, log maintenance, and system operations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in security operations or related fields (e.g. Certified First Aider) are an advantage.
  • Experience in a similar role or in a high-activity environment is beneficial.
