Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

  • Project engineer is required to work as part of the OMM team with specific responsibilities for managing manufacturing projects. Pro-active liaise and coordinate with OM teams, suppliers and customers. Manage projects and ensure the project objectives being deliver within the controlled timeline, resources and cost.
  • Working to priorities set by the Project Manager and not limited to the material and packaging changes and improvements, new product introduction and manufacturing process improvements, cost reductions, change control and validation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and define the project scope and objectives.
  • Define resources required to reach the objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project cost in order to meet the budget.
  • To monitor project and ensuring the project objectives are achieved.
  • To generate and maintain daily project updates with using project management tools and report.
  • To execute validation process (VMP,IQ,OQ,PQ,VSR), coordinate project activities and report on project progress.
  • To prepare documentation required to support projects such as change control, validation protocols, transmittal form, etc.
  • To assist Project Manager in preparing a project plan and schedule.
  • To perform job with minimum supervision.
  • While the above responsibilities constitute the primary functions of the titled job, the Project Engineer will be required to carry out other reasonable tasks deemed within their capabilities by the Project Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree from any accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years in Project management
  • Experience or exposure to NPI process; equipment, tooling & product transfer; supplier management; process validation; packaging artwork change and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Project management, High level of product and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skill, excellent communication skills, ability to build teams to deliver projects, lots of initiative, ability to work within budget and deadline, a can-do attitude.
