The Field Instrument Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales and business development for field instrumentation products, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement solutions. This role involves identifying potential customers, providing technical support, and building long-term relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.
Job Requirements;
- Can be relocated at Bintulu, Sarawak.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
- Atleast 1-2 years experienced relevant industry
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, process control, and field instrumentation products
Job Descriptions;
A. Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and projects
- Identify and engage new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
B. Technical Sales Support:
- Provide technical expertise to customers, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, customer support, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders, including clients (End-user/EPCC/EPC), partners, and industry influencers
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns
C. Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in both Oil & Gas and Non-Oil & Gas industries.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objective and achieve sales target
D. Product and Solution Development:
- Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback from customers and the market, contributing to the improvement and innovation of products and solutions
E. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project status. The information shall be captured in MD365 CRM
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback. The progress updates will be presented during the Weekly War Meeting every Monday.
F. Compliance and Ethics:
- Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all business dealings
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant laws and regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
