Job Summary:

We are looking for a WordPress Website Technical Specialist who can support, troubleshoot, and maintain WordPress websites for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to solve website, hosting, email, and basic SEO-related issues.

You will be responsible for handling WordPress technical problems, coordinating with hosting/server support teams, managing cPanel or DirectAdmin-related issues, supporting webmail or Google Workspace setup, and assisting with basic website content and design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. WordPress Technical Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress website issues

• Fix plugin, theme, layout, speed, and functionality problems

• Handle website errors, bugs, broken pages, and backend issues

• Perform basic WordPress maintenance, updates, and checks

2. Hosting & Server-Level Support

• Identify hosting/server-related issues and coordinate with server support teams

• Manage basic hosting troubleshooting through cPanel or DirectAdmin

• Support domain, DNS, SSL, backup, storage, and website access issues

• Liaise with hosting providers to ensure website issues are resolved properly

3. Email & Google Workspace Support

• Assist with webmail setup and troubleshooting

• Support Google Workspace / G Suite email-related issues

• Troubleshoot email sending, receiving, DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM, and basic email configuration issues

4. SEO Content Optimisation

• Execute basic SEO content optimisation on WordPress websites

• Update meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and internal links

• Upload and format SEO content based on provided guidelines

• Ensure website pages are structured properly for SEO readability

5. Website Content & Basic Design Support

• Make basic website layout and content updates

• Ensure pages look clean, consistent, and user-friendly

• Apply basic design sense when updating banners, sections, spacing, images, and page layouts

• Work closely with the internal marketing/design team when needed

Requirements:

• Experience in WordPress website management and troubleshooting

• Familiar with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and backend settings

• Basic understanding of hosting, cPanel, DirectAdmin, DNS, SSL, and domain setup

• Able to liaise with hosting/server support teams to resolve technical issues

• Basic knowledge of webmail and Google Workspace / G Suite email setup

• Basic understanding of SEO content optimisation

• Good eye for website layout, spacing, and basic design presentation

• Able to work independently and solve problems responsibly

• Detail-oriented and responsive when handling client website issues

Good to Have:

• Experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, or other WordPress page builders

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge

• Basic website speed optimisation knowledge

• Experience working in a digital marketing agency environment

• Familiar with SEO tools or WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math or Yoast SEO

Ideal Candidate:

You are someone who enjoys solving website problems, understands both WordPress and hosting-related issues, and can communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and hosting providers. You do not need to be a full-stack developer, but you must be strong in WordPress technical support, website troubleshooting, and basic website optimisation.

Salary Range:

RM4,000 to RM5,000 Monthly
